I'm Feeling: satisfied
Finally got to see Friday the 13th! I've never gone 'oooh' 'aaaaaah' and 'hotdamn' so much during a movie before, Jason really showed a diabolical side in this movie. He doesn't just use his machete to kill anymore, he wraps a girl in a sleeping bag and steam roasts her over a fire o_o which by the way was the worst way to die, I mean not only are you in a tight space over scorching heat, but you're suffocating as well and you're living through the whole thing. Horrible horrible way to die, so wrong o_o.
I have not seen so many boobs and heard so many f*** yous in any movie before, I mean my ears were bleeding and my eyes were melting, I get that the guys will go to the movie to see that, but seriously! Was it necessary to see so many bouncing boobs?! LOL!!! Okay it was funny that they all got killed, seeing as how obnoxious they all were. It was also funny how the stereotype of 'the black man always dies first' was broken in this movie, they actually went a little further and had it where he was the only one to actually put up a fight and hurt Jason before biting the dust. Of course he didn't go shoulder to shoulder with him like Clay did, but still it was cool to see ;)
Don't even get me started on Clay, man was he HOT! Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that it was Jared *cough cough* Padalecki *cough* playing him.... hey! It's not my fault! They put that shirt on him on purpose, and rightfully so! I mean if they are going to appeal to the guy audience by flashing boobs then they sure as hell better please the girl audience by putting the hottest guy in the movie in a skin tight tee ... and pleased I was ;) That's not to say I didn't pay attention to his acting, because I did, I was kind of disappointed that we didn't see more of him though. I mean I get that in these movies you don't really get to know the characters beyond their superficial - drink/bong and bang layers, but I would have loved to see a little more about Clay. He left home at 17, he wasn't responsible, he and his sister fought ... but why? I would have liked to get to know him more, cause he did show signs of relentlessness with the whole going back to the cabin, knowing full well a psycho killer was probably there, I mean no one in their right mind would do that. But he was determined to find his sister and he was smart enough to not believe the local cops and the creepy lady with the scary ass dog. I know I know the movie wasn't about him, it was more about Clay looking for his sister and Jason showing some mad skills when killing his victims. But it would have been nice to get to know Clay on a more ... ummm... intimate level ;)
I guess it's because I'm so used to getting to know a character so deeply, like with Sam in Supernatural that I found it kind of weird not being able to connect with a character on that level in a movie. I felt for him when he was handing out missing leaflets of his sister and when the jackass Trent (have you noticed that there's always a jackass named Trent?) was being so douchebaggy to him. But the connection was not the same as the connection and understanding I get when I'm watching Sam Winchester. But again, the movie was not about that, so I should stop being chick flicky :P
It was definitely an awesome movie, loved the whole ending where Jared/Clay finally gets some action and takes Jason on \o/ Wooo! I almost had a heart attack when it looked like Jason was going to fillet Clay's face *shivers* Then the whole dumping of the body and finally what you think will be a sister brother moment till... BAM!! HE'S BAAAAACK!!! So not fare :p Jared was awesome, what did I love most about him in the movie? He does jumpy spooked out of his mind so well!
For instance, like in the dog scene and the end scene or like this scene:

Or this scene, love his hair in the face moments ;)

Or this scene ... it's kind of sad that she died in the end, she was the only decent person in her group of friends

I like that Jason was wearing this through most of the movie, till he found his hockey mask

I'm hoping we get to see what happens to Clay and his sister. I don't want to have to guess through the whole movie- if they die how did they die, if they didn't die how did they get away- kind of thing. I want to see it. Meaning Jared will have to come back ;D
